1. Who is responsible for your data?
Rocket Tangle is operated by the provider identified in our Imprint (the “developer”, “I”, or “me”). For privacy questions contact rockettangle.app@gmail.com.
2. What information is processed?
Game progress and preferences stored on your device
The game stores information such as level progress, completed levels, earned Gems, power-up use, trophies, tutorial completion and settings (for example sound and vibration) on your device. Rocket Tangle does not require you to register an account to play. Local progress can be lost if you uninstall the app, clear its data or change devices without a supported backup.
Firebase Analytics
Rocket Tangle uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve gameplay, stability and user experience. Depending on configuration, consent and device settings, analytics data may include app-instance identifiers, app launches, screen views, interactions and gameplay events (such as level starts and completions), app version, operating-system and device information, approximate region, and technical performance information. Data is generally evaluated in aggregated form. Firebase may use identifiers and other data as described in Google's documentation and privacy notices.
Google AdMob advertising
Rocket Tangle displays advertising through Google AdMob, including automatically displayed ads and optional rewarded ads. Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, advertising or app identifiers (where permitted), device information, approximate location derived from IP addresses, ad interactions, diagnostic information and data needed for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and personalization, depending on your choices and applicable law. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized where supported.
In-app purchases
The game offers a one-time “Remove Ads” in-app purchase processed through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payment and billing details under its own terms and privacy policy. The app receives the transaction and entitlement information needed to verify, provide and restore the purchase; I do not receive your full payment-card details. “Remove Ads” removes automatically displayed ads, but optional rewarded ads remain available when you choose to watch them.
Support requests
Rocket Tangle offers in-app “Send Feedback” and “Report a Problem” forms. You can submit a message without providing a reply email address. The message (up to 5,000 characters), any optional reply email address, and basic platform and app-version information are transmitted to and stored in a dedicated Supabase support database. An anonymous technical authentication identifier is created to protect message submission; this is not a player account and is not needed to play the game. This information is used to handle feedback, investigate problems and respond where a reply address is provided. Please do not include sensitive information. If you instead email support, your email provider sends the email address and message content in the usual manner.
Technical and website information
When you visit this static website, the hosting provider may process technical connection information such as IP address, request time and browser information to deliver and protect the site. This website does not intentionally use its own analytics or advertising trackers.
3. Why is information processed?
Information is processed to operate and remember your game progress, maintain app settings, deliver advertisements and rewarded ads, verify purchases, understand how the game is used, detect abuse or technical issues, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where GDPR or similar law applies, processing may rely on performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for core app functions and purchases; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security, limited diagnostics and support; compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)); and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics, advertising identifiers, personalized advertising or similar technologies where required. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing. Where consent is required, applicable SDK features should respect your choices.
5. Service providers and international transfers
The app uses Google LLC and/or Google affiliates for Firebase Analytics and AdMob. Supabase provides backend authentication and storage for in-app feedback and problem reports. Apple provides App Store purchases and related transaction services. The website is hosted via Cloudflare. These service providers may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States, subject to their applicable data-protection arrangements and safeguards.

6. Advertising choices, consent and iOS tracking
Where legally required, Rocket Tangle requests relevant consent choices through a consent-management interface (including Google's User Messaging Platform where applicable). You can accept, reject or adjust available advertising privacy choices and withdraw consent through the in-app privacy options where provided. On iOS, the app requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency authorization before any tracking that requires it. Declining permission does not prevent basic gameplay; advertisements may still be shown in a non-personalized or limited form where lawful.
Purchasing “Remove Ads” stops automatically displayed in-game ads, not Firebase Analytics or all third-party data processing. Optional rewarded advertisements are still shown only when you actively choose them; they may involve Google AdMob data processing.
7. How long is data kept?
Local game progress remains on your device until you reset it, uninstall the app or delete its local data, subject to device backups. Support messages and optional reply email addresses are kept as long as necessary to process the request and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized. Anonymous authentication records are also managed in Supabase and are reviewed for deletion when no longer needed. Analytics, advertising, transaction and hosting information is retained in accordance with the relevant providers' settings, retention periods, legal obligations and policies. Data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, where applicable.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. Contact rockettangle.app@gmail.com for requests concerning data controlled by the developer. Some information is held by Apple or Google under their own services and may need to be managed through them. Without an account or identifying information, it may not be possible to associate anonymous technical records with a particular person.
9. Security and children's privacy
Reasonable measures are used to protect information, but no system is completely secure. Rocket Tangle is not designed to solicit personal information from children; advertising, analytics and age-related protections are configured in accordance with applicable laws and platform requirements. Parents or guardians can contact support with concerns.
10. Updates and contact
